それで園子姉ちゃんに連絡したあと、蘭姉ちゃんがその美容室が入ってるビルを見たら、美容室の上の階の窓の向こうで人が倒れる瞬間を見たんだって!
急いで現場の部屋に行くと、そこには…!?

Ran was waiting for Sonoko at the station when a guy from a hair salon asked her if she would model for a haircut. After getting in touch with Sonoko, she looked at the building where the beauty shop is. And that is when she saw someone collapsing in front of a window on the floor above the salon!

They rushed to scene only to find…?!

Nice wordplay with his name here given he has the word for butterfly 蝶 in his name. Had to do a double take on his company name though. Thought it was Butterfree at first.

What an episode. We got a tag team between the Deduction Queen and Ran deducing this culprit down to nothing with a few twists and turns. Love that Conan didn’t handle all of the deducing this time around.

Even the alibi setup reminded me of the classic fishing wire tricks back in the day. Never thought a roomba could be used in that way but brilliant nonetheless. Unfortunately for Junta, he was suspicious from the very start. It was clear that he was leading her to be a witness to a crime.

I wonder if Junta had evidence, could he have done a lawsuit for slander? It was foul what she did but still killing someone for tanking your business with reviews and word of mouth is a bit much. Considering he was supposedly famous, his clients should have had more trust in him. Kinda curious what she went around saying about the guys beauty shop to lose his clients trust like that.

I also liked the slight ShinRan moment in this episode. Would be interesting to see her change her hair style but I think I’d miss the hair horn that we’ve grown accustom to all these years. On another note, I hope we get some more ShinRan moments soon. I mean have they even been on date since they started going out during the Kyoto Trip Case?

Speaking of relationships (?) looks like we got some exciting episodes coming up with Hattori and Kazuha. This has to be the umpteenth time he has tried to confess to her. It was fun the first few times but please just go out already.
