1か月くらい前に脅迫状が届いて、ついに昨日の夜はビルの上から植木鉢が落ちて来たんだって!
それで小五郎のおじさんが婚約者の人を警護している間、ボクと蘭姉ちゃんがさりげなく周りの聞き込みをすることにしたんだ!
すると結婚をやめさせたい人がいるってわかってきたんだけど…!?

A man came to Kogoro’s office, claiming his fiancee is being targeted.
About a month ago, they received a threatening letter. And a flowerpot fell from top of a building last night aimed at her!

So while Kogoro was body-guarding the fiancee, Ran and I decided to do some sleuthing in the neighborhood. And that’s when we discovered someone wants to put a stop to the wedding!

The mother seemed quite cold but I don’t think she would have went as far as to kill her daughter in law. I do find it weird that she seemed to have it in for Mayu. Mayu’s parents are against it due to the age gap but I guess Shota’s mom is fine with it. She is getting married to someone who kinda looks younger than her. I just want to know what they were arguing about.

On another note, find it hilarious that the guy did all that for her and she was already planning to marry another person.

Kinda sucks about the coin though. Did it really have to be used for evidence? The guy clearly admitted to the crime. Ran could have made some bank off of it. But alas, the detective agency will surely have another chance at bringing in the cash.

わん・ワン・ Wan is a sound a dog makes in manga. It’s kinda how we have woof here in English.
わんちゃん・ワンちゃん・Wanchan is a cute way to say dog – doggie/doggo/pooch
