渦巻きをテーマにした作品だけを展示している美術館に行ったボクと蘭姉ちゃん、小五郎のおじさんは、館内で殺人事件に遭遇したんだ!

でもボク達が銃声の直後、現場へ駆けつけたんだけど、犯人は誰にも目撃されず消えちゃってたんだ。
館内を調べると建物自体も作品の一部みたいだったから、ボクは仕掛けに気づいて隠し部屋を発見!
でも第2の事件が起きて…!?

We took a trip to a museum that had spiral themed artworks which turned into a murder case!

After hearing the gunshot, we rushed to the crime scene, only to find the culprit had vanished! After searching the building we found out the building had a hidden room! But then a second murder occurred!

The conclusion to the case – “The Spiral Mansion Mystery (Part Two)” coming up next!

Seemed like it would turn up that way. Neji was the only one that could pull it off. I sort of understand the motives in both murders. However, I thought Neji would have another reason to kill them both other than selling art and blackmail. Then again, if she knew what Satoshi was up to, she could have used that as a counter.

The spiral building is interesting. Was not expecting another hidden room. I guess that is how she could have quickly did the job and escape. Unfortunately for her, Kazumi knew something was off and pushed even more for her to join his company instead. Don’t know if it was out of friendship or love but the guy’s heart was in the right place. Even went as far as throwing a brick off the roof to clear her of suspicion. At that point, I thought they were in on it together.

Bit curious about the end credit scene though. Was that implying that the artist Tsurufuji had a hand in killing the architect of the building? Plus, that room seems to hold a few mysteries that remain unresolved. Plus, it would have added another twist, if she ended up being the daughter of the artist. Or even the architect who truly made the building. Would be nice revisit this place but I have a feeling that this case is closed.

On another note, this month’s end card is adorable. Wish we could get some more kid cases from when Shinichi and Ran were at Teitan Elementary. Or hey, the Detective Boys solving a case or two at school would be nice.

Next Episode is…

And here we are, the annual movie promotion episode. Excited to see how they tie this together with the next movie. Still haven’t seen last year’s film due to the US not having it (´；ω；`)ｳｩｩ. At least the manga adaptation is out to hold me over.
